Overview

In October 2024 we will be returning with the 5th Australasian Young Coastal Scientists and Engineers Conference (AusYCSEC), set to inspire and connect the next generation of coastal innovators.

The Central Hub will be in Queensland for the first time ever, with six local hubs across Australia and New Zealand. The conference is a three-day event of presentations, expresses courses and a field trip addressing some of the local coastal, estuary and marine management issues. The three-day event is great for networking and getting to know like minded people within your field.

In Person Participation

The Central Hub and Local Hubs will offer many great opportunities for networking and interacting. This is an excellent opportunity to connect in person with events including poster sessions, field trip, conference social events, speed networking and more. Presenters will deliver at the hub they attend or online with it being broadcast to all hubs and online participants.

Online Participation

Those participating online will be provided with links to each session located on the program after registering.
